England - Oxford

This is the Royal Warrant (top) dated 1962, that records the privilege given by the Queen to allow the City of Oxford to have a Lord Mayor. Only 23 cities in England have that right. The 1191 Charter (bottom) confirms a grant of town land to the Church of St Mary and is the oldest surviving document issued in Oxford.
